It's posted in the general section also. love4canines.org is such an awesome rescue group. They take every dog or cat no matter what. Most of our animals are from the San Bernardino shelter where the kill rate is high. I put baskets together to try to raise money. I figure donating $300 is good but I think I could turn the $300 into $1000 and give them all the money to pay for the vet bills. tickets are $3 each and $5 for 2. You would paypal me and I send you the tickets through email. note which basket you want. So far I have raised $100 and only 4 raffle. (you can just donate also)

this is totally awesome and with recession and people giving up their dogs or abandoning them we are getting hit hard with dogs needing homes. needing fostering the most. this is an all time low in adoptions too not just for our group but others that I have talked to. I feel that everyone who has donated has given a lot. I know there are so many causes that everyone gets asked for so thank you again.

i am changing it to sunday being the last day. i was not able to sell too many raffle tickets at the fair $50 worth. it was so loud next to the live band that people were hurrying past. our adoption side went well: 5 adopted and 4 fosters which meant they took them home today. it sure helped a lot. i am going to post the winners and send the gifts out on monday. thanks again everyone

they didn't think i could raise this amount of money by internet. i told them that my bf made a link and i posted it on my denim forums and sent them to friends and they were amazed. i met my friend's aunt who donated. she was very happy she donated bc she does not have a pet and loved to see it help our cause. overall, i am very satisfied with the results.
I didn't even get to walk around the farmers market or the adoption fair. i was designated donation jar watcher and raffle ticket seller. i was also talking to the people and telling them about fostering and they did it. i also passed out some lollipops to the kids and helped with watching some dogs that needed a time out.
