| Please do not comment in this thread unless you have something you can add to help out with Diesel fitting. Please read further down this page to see helpful suggestions about wash/cut. Straight legs: -Liv: somewhere between skinny and straight. I find they are most comfortable if you have larger calves (like I do). I think these are slimming but the back pockets are quite large and can be hit-or-miss on specific people. I find the back pockets flatter those with some junk in the trunk My favorite washes: 8dr, 81m (if you want a light pair)! -Rokket: They tend to run a big slim through the thigh/hip. However, the back of the leg has a seam similar to stockings that you should be aware of. I think it's actually a very cool look, but it's not for everyone. I thought the cut reminded me most of Lowky. The back pockets are nice and centered so very butt-enhancing for those of you who want a little extra help! -Lowky: My personal favorite in the straight leg category. Somewhere between a skinny and a straight leg (especially snug in the calf if you have larger calves). Very flattering on curvier women because of the pocket placement! I would not recommend these for women who lack bum-- the pockets sit lower and sort of squarish so it can cause the dreaded "saggy butt" on some. The back rise can be low depending in your body type but do not run AS low as some other cuts (Matic, Lowky BC, etc.) These would be a highly recommended first cut to try for those of you who want to try Diesels for the first time. I've found that they tend to be universally flattering! My favorite washes: 88f, 8ck, 71L, 60b (yes, there are a lot!) -Keate: slim fitted all over but slightly looser in the knee and calf area than Liv and Lowky. The back pockets have a slight side placement so these tend to look best on smaller-hipped women. The pockets can be really hit-or-miss depending on your body type but generally not great for women with a generous behind (small-med bum is best). Best for women who are cut very straight and want to add some curves. The pockets in the front actually do not cause your thighs to look bigger (as I expected!) and are attention-drawing in a good way. Favorite washes: 60e, 71J -Junnie: These have slanted front pockets, a medium rise, snug in the hips but generous in the thighs. The pockets are square and placed close together in the back for maximum butt-lifting! I would liken these to TR Sammy's, so these tend to look better on taller girls. Skinnies: -Clush: Can be a challenge to wear due to the long pointed back pockets (similar to TR Micky) and can take some getting used to. They have a higher back rise than Matic's so you don't have to worry about ass cleavage! <-- fantastic! My favorite wash: 8aa, 71y -Matic: tried on many pairs but did not buy because the back rise wasn't high enough for me. These are NOT for girls with a full booty or thighs! These look best on girls who are slim all over! Try the Clush or Liv if you want to try skinnies and you have a round/larger behind. Favorite washes: 81m, 71y (gray), 88d (distressed/studded) -Cayre: not a true skinny but these are a truly unique fit. They are loose, almost low and baggy in the butt and fitted in the thighs and tapered towards the bottom. Not really my style, but these are indeed very eye-catching jeans. -Karab: square back wide back pockets and skinny leg (most similar to Matic in cut). Bootcut: -Bebel: a bootcut with a wider knee than most so halfway between a trouser and bootcut. (Bebel BC is similar but has a flare instead of bootcut) These tend to be tighter around the waist and LOW in the back (I prefer to size up and wear them slightly loose). That being said, I think these are the most flattering bootcuts in the Diesel women's line especially for women who are cut straighter. These can be a bit problematic for curvy women because the waist runs tts but the thighs are not so generous! Favorite washes: 70U, 8bd (detailed lighter wash). -Ronhar: nice basic bootcut. Most the washes available are fairly simple (unlike the Bebel) so these are a great staple to any Diesel lover's wardrobe! Since these are an older cut, the rise is generally on the higher side (8" front rise). -Kycut: Generally cut smaller in the waist and larger in the hips and thighs, so these are ideal for the curvier girls. These are somewhere between a bootcut and a generous straight leg! One of my favorite Diesels are Kycut 60b's because they are EXTREMELY comfy and easy to wear! These are seriously underrated but I love these so much that I will go as far as to say that EVERY curvy girl needs a pair of Kycuts! -Ryoth: a nice bootcut with a very low rise! The back pockets are set a little lower on the butt/upper thigh (think TR Joey's) and I think this particular cut looks better a little bit loose. I happen to love this cut because I think it's unique and eyecatching, but it's not for everyone. This is definitely NOT a cut for those of you looking for butt enhancement. Due to the cut, flat/small bummed women might have a hard time keeping them up in the back, so best for more generous bums! -Riden: Higher rise than Ronhar but similar in fit. The other "basic" bootcut jean in this category. Best for women who are cut very straight (not ideal for curvy women!). These are a must for those of you desiring a Diesel bootcut that is higher for age-appropriate concerns. The pockets are proportionally small so these can be very hit-or-miss, especially rigid Ridens because they don't conform to your body as nicely as some other cuts. -Rippy: very unique detailing on these (esp. 82m wash). These are somewhere between a straight leg and a bootcut. I found that the back pockets are shorter and wider, which I think is better on people with a narrow rounder butt (otherwise you risk having your butt/hips look a bit wide). -Cherone: very similar to Hush but with a wider flare. Tab front jeans with a distinct bootcut. These are the perfect cut for those of you needing some booty enhancement! Very flattering through the bum and thighs, but not great for those of you with heavier proportioned thighs. -Cherock: Cherock is the newer, updated version of the Cherone in a lower rise and fit snug on the thigh. Equally butt-enhancing! -Cheren: similar to Kycut. Smallish in the waist and bigger in the hips/thighs/butt. Great for compact, curvy girls! -Doozy: Medium rise and slightly relaxed leg. Somewhere between straight leg and bootcut because the knees are not tight. Very flattering on most body types but I've noticed they run straight through the hips, so probably not a good cut for VERY curvy women. Flare: -Bebel BC: Like Bebel but with a flare leg instead of straight. -Louvely: Updated version of Louve with a lower rise and smaller flare. Cut very slim through the thigh and tends to run a bit big at the waist when I tried them. Probably best for women with smaller thighs because these really are VERY slim through the leg. -Lowky BC: these are quite flared and snug on the thighs! I personally will never own these just because I don't find them as flattering as straight leg Lowky's but I have a very curvy body. Women who are cut straighter and want to add some curviness will LOVE this cut! I would not recommend these for those of you with larger thighs because the pockets won't sit right due the shape. -Louve: Trouser cut, very flared leg. Cut very similarly to Liv, except with a very large flared leg. The back pockets are high and centered so are very flattering on the bum. Great for those of you looking to enhance a flattish/smaller bum! -Zharx: higher rise than most other Diesel's I've tried and are cut small pretty much everywhere. The back pockets are short and wide so these look best on girls with a rounder bum. These have a generous flare but tend to be tight at the knees. These are not being made anymore so you can often find a cheap pair on ebay, which would be great for making into skinny bermudas since they are cut so narrow! -Hush DS: between bootcut and flare, tends to widen hips a tad but is VERY flattering for girls in the bum and thighs. These would be a great pair for those of you looking to enhance a smallish/flattish bum! Generally a size-up pair. The back pockets are placed fairly high and the back waistband is quite narrow so it makes the bum look nice and perky. These can be very hit-or-miss! -Rame: Older cut, not made anymore. I would describe these as Ridens with a bigger flare (i.e. a very basic flare leg) which is good for those of you who want to be age-appropriate and prefer a 8" rise. Trouser/wide leg: -Pacee: Has very low (think TR) back pockets. These look best on girls who are tall (5'8 and above would be good) and curvy. Cut wide in the thighs (like a trouser) but very slim through the hips. Slimmer tall girls will look lost inside of this cut because it will be quite baggy. Not really my style, but expect to see the super wide leg jean come back in this year! -Wiggy: front angular pockets like Reckfly. Wide hem at bottom and rounded square pockets (similar to TR Sammy). -Bootik: Dressy trouser jean. Generally minimalist in terms of pockets and detailing. Back and front slit pockets and non-exposed button for fly. Reminiscent of SFAM Miller Trousers and can easily be dressed up. -Nadar: large square flap back pockets. Minimal detailing and standard button fly. Trouser cut with a slight flare. -Hipper: Loose wide leg fit the whole way down and meant to be worn slouchy. Has oversized long, rectangular front pockets that add to the casual look of the jeans. Similar fit to SFAM Dojo's. Last edited by hibiscu5; 09-07-2007 at 11:09 AM. |

| I am usually a 25 / 26 in other brands and I have been getting 26's across the board in Diesel so I'll just indicate tight or loose. I don't think that it has been enough to size up or down though. Bebel 81M - Waist is snug 70u - perfect 70z - Waist is snug, but hips / butt loose because it's rigid Riden 83Z - loose Keate 87E - perfect Last edited by hibiscu5; 08-01-2007 at 03:37 PM. |

| I'm generally a 26/27 in all brands (True Religion/7FAM/R&R/COH). Bebel: 70U-28 Bebel BC: 89X-28. Lowky BC: 717-26 60B-25 8BB-26 89L-26 Lowky: 8CK-26 (they're quite tight in the waist but they fit and I can wear them comfortably. I did damp stretch them with sucess!) 71L-27 61E-27 Doozy 71J-27 Matic 81M-27 88D-28. Slightly loose, I probably could have gone with a 27. 71R-28. Keate 796-27. Kycut 772-27 8BD-27 8BG-28. Slightly loose, I would have preferred a 27. Clush 8BG-28. Loose in the waist, but fitted everywhere else. I could have done a 27 but the calves would have fit like leggings.
