Nice! So you bought him all new furniture too? I like the bean bag chair! What did you do with the old furniture? I have such a hard time giving things up, or really, figuring out what to do with them so that I don't feel bad about giving them up.

Well Mel, Kevin had to fix all the holes in walls and ceiling, primer and paint everything. I made the major run to IKEA and assembled everything so we shared the work pretty evenly I think...

Everything is new and from IKEA so I didn't break the bank. He had a bunk bed before because his older brother used to live with us so we sold that. He had a few large IKEA pieces and suprisingly those sold very fast on craigslist... so I recouped about 1/2 of what I spend by selling the old furniture.

I love his curtains though, they are from Overstock.com. I am going to back and order a pair for my room now! They are insulating and room darkening and the fabric is super nice.

It looks amazing. Total transformation. I need to do something with my daughters room so badly. I can just never figure out where to begin!
